Open-Source-Projekte starten oft mit einer führenden 0 als Versionsnummer, um zu zeigen, dass sich das Projekt noch in der Entwicklungsphase befindet. Oft bleibt die führende 0 dann Jahre lang bestehen, obwohl die Software immer weiter entwickelt wird und ausreift.

Die aller erste Bitcoin-Version von 2009 hatte übrigens die Versionsnummer 0.1.

Was sagt ihr zu dieser kleinen aber psychologisch wichtigen Änderung der Versionsnummer?

Open source projects often start with a leading 0 as a version number to show that the project is still in the development phase. Often the leading 0 then remains for years, even though the software continues to develop and mature.

By the way, the very first Bitcoin version from 2009 had the version number 0.1.

What do you say to this small but psychologically important change of the version number?
