I've been saying for years that internal combustion engines are the history of the automotive industry. A beautiful history, but a history. You might as well be amazed by the steam locomotives. They are beautiful, full of "romanticism", but that's history. Their place is in the museum. BTW... Did you know that one of the first cars created by Ferdinand Porsche was electric? With range extender. The vehicle was powered by an electric motor, and the internal combustion engine worked only as a power generator. We have been waiting more than 100 years for this concept to be developed. But even then, Porsche was of the opinion that electric drive is better. I can't wait to see the electric M2. I'm a big fan of this and I know that BMW can make a car like this and be "best in class" again. This is my New Year's dream :)
