Gullwing doors for SUV by Ford.

Car manufacturers are trying in various ways to make it easier for us to get in and out of the car or pack luggage or goods. The new solution has just been filed by Ford with the patent office. Ford calls it "side door for a vehicle" and it looks like this:

Seemingly complicated, but we have already seen similar or more complicated constructions, even in convertibles with an automatically folding rigid roof.

The question is, will Ford ever produce a car with such doors?
