Ice Scramble
Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I want to showcase a dessert that fits perfectly in summertime: Ice Scramble. This dessert is widely popular in the streets of the Philippines, particularly during summertime where the heat is exhausting. It is a shaved ice dessert mixed with sugar or sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, fruit (banana, cherry, and more) or vanilla extracts, and food coloring to make it more pleasing. It is also mixed with a variety of toppings like chocolate syrup, marshmallows, m&m's and other chocolates, powdered milk, candy sprinkles, and even rice crispies. It is always a delight to taste this dessert since you can really feel the cold ice through your throat as it cools down the internal heat.
