Buko Pie
Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'll be trying out the Buko Pie which is a popular dessert here in the Philippines. Buko Pie is a Filipino baked young coconut custard. Although it is similar with Coconut Cream Pie in the US, it differs in a way where it utilizes the young coconut meat and condensed milk which makes it more denser than its counterpart. I really love this dessert especially with the surprise buko meat inside since it gives it a different texture although you really have to chew since it is a bit tough. You should definitely try it or even try baking one at home.
