Japanese Cake (Filipino Version)
Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'll be trying out Japanese Cake. This type of small cake is popular in the Philippines, I am not yet informed on where and how this dessert was invented. Based on the information that I have collected, I think this treat comes from the Fluffy Japanese Sponge Cake since this dessert is somehow a smaller version of it. The Filipino Japanese Cake is moist, fluffy, and really light. This dessert is also really fun since there are several versions of it and only differ in terms of filling. My favorite fillings are melted cheese, custard, and yema.
