A Purpose Worth Dying For
There are lots of people who would do literally anything just to fulfill a dream or goal, and to be honest, it's a good thing to be committed to a course, as it usually brings about success, makes life meaningful, and the like. However, despite how amazing it is, we can't help but talk about the negative effect of such actions. I mean, we've seen humans who have dreams and goals that they believe are worth dying for, but then is that supposed to be a thing? Do I have such dreams? And if so, what are they?
Even though there are negative effects to being overall committed to a course to the point where you don't mind dying in your bid to accomplish them, still, I'd say I'm among those who have that kind of dream, and I'd be willing to remain on that path until I achieve it. Now, talking about what those dreams or goals are, there is actually more than one, and I'd be talking about each bit by bit. The first dream I would literally not mind dying just to achieve is to make heaven; I'm a Christian, and according to our beliefs, we are just journeymen here on earth. Heaven is our actual home, but the life we live here on earth is what would determine if we'll make heaven or go to hell.
As someone who's a believer of the Bible, I want to have an eternal life with Christ, and so for that reason I'm willing and ready to live a holy life, one that does God's will at all times. Secondly, another goal I wouldn't mind dying in my bid to accomplish is the need to provide for the needs of my loved ones, and by loved ones I mean my wife and children, and also my parents and siblings, but the majorly important ones are my immediate family's needs. I won't want a situation where my children or wife struggles, and that's why I'm really willing to do all it takes to provide for their needs and be there for them.
It's also part of my responsibility as a husband and a father, and alongside that, it's God's commandment to train up our child in the way they should go so that when they grow up, they won't depart from it. I don't want my inability to guide, protect, or provide for my children and family to become a barrier that'll stand between me and eternal life, and those are the goals and dreams I won't mind dying to accomplish.
