This cake is calling my name
Like a needy ex, what a shame!
It’s begging to be eaten, oh my,
I can’t resist, no matter how hard I try.

It’s got frosting that’s so divine,
And layers that make me feel fine,
But every time I take a bite,
It’s like the cake’s saying, “Hold me tight!”

I try to ignore it, I really do,
But the cake keeps calling, what can I do?
It’s like a persistent ex, always there,
I might as well give in and show it some care.

I take a bite, and it’s so divine,
The flavors explode, is such a fine time.
Who needs a needy ex when I have cake,
It’s always there to make my day great.
