My Favorite Dish

If there’s anything that is so true about my connection with food then is this phrase –

“The way to a man’s heart is his stomach”.

Seriously, I like good food and I will say picking one dish as my favorite is a little bit difficult. Is more like searching for a needle in a haystack. Even though I do have lists of dishes I love to eat on a regular basis, I pretty much eat anything that is well prepared with love and affection. But since we’re talking in context of my favorite dish, I will pick one of my regulars and that will be:

Rice & Stew

I eat rice and stew a lot. Let me say an average of 3 days a week. Because I eat it quite often, then I'll say it's my favorite dish. Here in Nigeria, it is a very popular dish and also much affordable and easy to prepare.

I love my rice to be well cooked and by well cooked, I mean that it should be soft and cooked through on the inside, but still have a slight firmness on the outside while my stew should be well fried. The aroma of the stew should get me salivating and it should be well spiced with chicken, turkey, beef or fish. Anyone is fine with me.

There you have it. Like I said earlier, I pretty much eat any meal that is well prepared with love and affection but eat rice and stew a lot so I guess it's my favorite.

Thanks guys. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Special regards to #edtopic & #ecencydiscord for their support. It means a lot to me.
