Today when I woke up and visited my garden I found this beautiful monarch butterfly,with its scientific name Danaus plexippus,it can be said that it is a lepidopteran insect ditrisio, belonging to the family nymphalidae.It describes its orange wings with black stripes or black rings and is easily recognizable.Scientifically the autumn generation has a great resistance and longevity of up to nine months, while other generations can live up to twenty-four days.

Hoy al despertar y visitar mi jardin me encontré esta hermosa mariposa monarca,con su nombre científico Danaus plexippus,se puede decir que es un insecto lepidóptero ditrisio, perteneciente a la familia nymphalidae.se describe sus alas de color naranja con franjas negras o aros negros y es fácilmente reconocible.científicamente la generación de otoño posee una gran resistencia y la longevidad de hasta nueve meses, mientras que otras generaciones pueden vivir hasta veinticuatro días.

Monarch butterflies feed on flower nectar and have different diets depending on their life stage. While caterpillars feed on milkweed leaves, caterpillars are herbivores.

Las mariposas monarca se alimentan del néctar de las flores, tienen dietas diferentes según su etapa de vida. Mientras que las orugas se alimentan de hojas de algodoncillo,las orugas son herbívoros.
