I thought the baby boomer where until 1964 the year with the highest birth rate. The year the anti baby pill started to show effect. But the I also heard it depends on country as the baby boom ended at different times in different countries.

The rest is, of course, correct. With COVID “they” say a change to accelerate their plans and took it.

One can only hope their greed and impatience is their downfall.
