My Takeaway: Pisang Goreng Panas

Pisang Goreng Panas or Hot Deep Fried Banana is very popular street-snack in many parts of Southeast Asia especially in Malaysia. There's a place in Likas called Mayang Sari Cafe that sells Pisang Goreng Panas, my favorite snack.

My husband used to work nearby and every Saturday, he used to bring me to have breakfast there. Today, while waiting for my daughter to finish participating a Bible Study Competition at a school nearby, we went to the restaurant to have breakfast and bought some Pisang Goreng Panas to take home.

They sells this Curry Puff and deep-fried Banana. 8 pieces of this fried Banana priced RM1.00 (USD0.2). I bought 16 pieces and paid RM2.00 (USD0.48).

Here's the deep-fried Banana that I bought. It's really nice to eat while its hot. Its crunchy outside and soft in the inside with that sliced sweet Banana.

Banana fruits looks so plain if eaten just like that, but when it is fried like this, it is definitely a star among the Banana fruits.
