How great was Glen Rice?

The NBA has been full of scorers since it's origins. There are players that when they got hot, they were hard to stop. Players like Bernard King, Mitch Richmond, Alex English (to name a few) will cause havoc to opposing teams when they became hot from the field of play. Scoring 40 plus points is no surprise for these players. Glen Rice fits this stereotype perfectly. Rice was an amazing scorer in the NBA for many years (18 ppg career average). He was a great shooter from 15 feet and out (40% from three point range). Glen could score 50 plus on any given night. Rice is one of the best scorers I ever seen.
