More Chill Less Scream | Putting Myself Out There

Hello hello on a Saturday morning! All well wishes from me.

We had rain yesterday. It was nice and heavy but too short. I can't say I was disappointed, it was a fair rainfall. Today I get to chill a bit before I have to head out into town to get things done.

So at the end of the weekend, mainly just Friday, I rediscovered 'round.wtf' and responded to two design requests. I think I am a sucker for art contests. Not that I play to win but just the idea of taking a request and creating it my way is fun. I used to contribute to a collage challenge until they told me I did a little too much on my submission and I did not agree with that opinion so I quit(they rained on my parade).

Anywaym this first was for a re-render of a mascot with a Halloween theme. Didn't quiet finish this one coz the deadline was already in.

The next was a request for a tshirt design and who wouldn't want any excuse to draw an ice cream. This is my take on the host's original character.

Overall I think this is a pretty good start. What do you think? I am thinking doing this would be practice for responding to design requests and I got both done under an hour so I did say it was well work.
