Stanford Shopping Center
The Stanford Shopping Center is located at the Palo Alto on the Stanford campus.
The shopping center covers an area of 130,000 square meters and consists of four large stores: Bloomingdale, Macy, Neumann Marcus and Nordstrom and boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Burberry and Victoria's Secret.
The university, as I understand it, leases this land for 25% of the profit of the shopping center.
The first store was opened here in 1955, and before that, vineyards occupied this entire area.
This is what the swimsuit department looks like after the invasion of shoppers. the fact is that the sales season is underway - they say that in honor of Independence Day on July 4. swimwear give 20 bucks. True, it seems that the top and the bottom are separate 😊 Everything looks exactly the same for us at the sale in Dawn.
Of course, not only swimwear is being sold, but everything else. For example, photographic equipment is sold at a discount of up to 40%.
In general, it seems that the junk here is cheaper than in Sofia. The husband compared the cost of white envelopes. At our place, they are sold in the official boutique at 119 BGN, while Palo Alto at 85 (if counted).
But the products are much more expensive. Another time I’ll try to show market photos.
There are a lot of people - they are there, it’s just evening and my husband tried not to take them off.
