Exploring, Gamla stan, Archipelago & More | A Day In Stockholm Center City

Traveling In europe as been a dream.. in my travel blog today we look at my exploration of Stockholm city center and all it has to offer..

When i tell you this is one of the best places i have been, from the train system to the tram line custruction of the city… all this made exploring here such a great experience

My day started at noon after commuting from bas to slussen using the train, the train system was really an enjoyable ride with the colour representation being yellow and blue it gave of the impression of a project that was made with pride and prestige.

Alighting at slussen station see directly the lane down to old town, i trecked down the bridge lane over seeing the stockholm port.. here we saw lots of boats and ship docked.. in a far distance was a train track that ran across the port. Restaurant like “ Fabrique Slussplan ” were also in view from the brige were the sun was on the horizon in the water . it was an indeed beautiful sight to see.

The infamous (Gamla Stan) Old town was on the top of my list to visit, it saw a lots of tourist every year with the beautiful colour buildings which always amazed me in pictures, in the square was the Royal palace and monumental statues that holds the history of sweden. In this place i could also visit some shops and traditional local market were i purchased som souvenirs and window shopped holiday materials that were on display

I proceeded down the lane after my visit to old town. The coast ran along far down and the sea breeze made the air cold but refreshing i looked iver the bridge which at this spot was lower and closer to the water, it was nice to have a view of cruise ship with tourist on the water … in view where a couple of Luxury hotels like the Grand Hotel

It was really an incredyday taking in the city of stockholm. And i cant wait to share more with you from my visit.. Thanks a lot for stopping by i would love to see you in the next one.
