
Our parents really treated conversations about sex like it's something demonic, they were only good at singing the consequences loud enough to make us scared.
Like you said the street doesn't even care about emotional readiness or feelings and the Internet doesn't care about values, the child will definitely learn elsewhere and get the wrong answers to their curiosity and questions.
Our parents thought silence was protection, and we can only correct that by educating our kids, that's the real protection.
