Small Kitten Tastes a Wild Leccinum Mushroom
Leccinum mushrooms are not good for cats because the risk of fatal misidentification is high, their effects on feline metabolism are completely unknown and unstudied, and they offer no nutritional benefit while posing a significant threat of making your cat severely ill. The only safe rule is to never feed your cat any wild mushroom. This is just FYI. And we actually did not feed the fungus. Safety first.
