Продовольче питання \ Food issue

Минулого року я вперше наважилась спробувати виростити бройлерів. Не дивлячись ні на що, навіть переборола свій чи то страх, чи то завелику любов до живого. Результат перевершив всі очікування: ми і діти мали майже цілий рік суперову домашню курятину.

Last year, for the first time, I dared to try to raise broilers. In spite of everything, she even overcame her fear or too much love for the living. The result exceeded all expectations: we and the children had a super home-made chicken for almost a year.

На цей рік до війни плани були вже трішечки більші: хотілося урізноманітнити меню іншими видами птиці, як то качками-мулардами чи гусями. Але росія вирішила все за нас: українців не має бути у цьому світі. І не потрібні їм ні виробництва, ні склади, ні самі люди - вони раші поперек горла.
Не на тих напали! Я вже знайшла курчат. І корм їм знайшла. І тепер ми підлаштовуємо для них будиночок. Дашок і внутрішнє оздоблення вже зроблені. Залишилось трішечки почекати стабільного тепла, і потішити себе новими турботами. А маму - її звичним заняттям всього життя: вирощувати продукти для сім'ї.

This year's pre-war plans were a little bigger: I wanted to diversify the menu with other species of birds, such as mulard ducks or geese. But Russia has decided everything for us: there should be no Ukrainians in this world. And they don't need productions, warehouses, or the people themselves - they are up to their necks.
Not those attacked! I have already found chickens. And she found food for them. And now we are setting up a house for them. Dashok and interior decoration are already done. It remains to wait a bit for stable heat, and amuse yourself with new worries. And mom - her usual occupation of a lifetime: to grow food for the family.
