Recién empecé a ver la serie Invincible y me gustó. Pensé que iba a ser una serie así como que muy típica, con héroes tipo Liga de la Justicia. Dije: “ah, esto va a ser un plagio”.

Cuando veo la serie me doy cuenta de que no es así. Tiene también un Superman, sí, héroes tipo Liga de la Justicia, pero todo está muy cambiado, muy distinto. Resulta que esta no es la serie normal que estamos acostumbrados a ver.
Vamos a enfocarnos en esto: la serie trata sobre los Guardianes del Globo y Omni-Man, en el primer capítulo. Y por ahí vamos viendo que Omni-Man parece bueno, pero en realidad no es bueno. Él viene de una raza llamada los Viltrumitas, una raza que intenta conquistar el mundo. No son buenos, simplemente intentan conquistar planetas y funcionan como una especie de militares, como tareas, como soldados.
Lo que todo esto tiene es ese contraste raro: Omni-Man es como el Superman de esta serie, pero con una cara mucho más fría, incluso con ese bigote así tipo Freddie Mercury.
Y también vamos a concentrarnos ahora en la parte importante. Omni-Man tiene un hijo, Mark Grayson, que es un chico normal que a la edad de los 18 años más o menos obtiene sus poderes. Y entonces ahí es que empieza la serie de verdad, lo interesante.

Los Guardianes del Globo están muertos, nadie sabe quién fue. Omni-Man está en un hospital, todo muy crudo. Entonces Mark Grayson quiere empezar la lucha contra el crimen, y le dice a su papá, descubriendo que es hijo de Omni-Man, sin saber los verdaderos intereses de él.
Entonces esto viene siendo como el inicio, un poco grueso, un poco tosco de la serie Invincible.
La serie Invincible es de las últimas, casi como de las más recomendadas, pero no es recomendada por fanatismo. Es una serie recomendada porque cuando la empiezas a ver, te va a gustar.
Y esa es mi recomendación para el día de hoy.

I just started watching the series Invincible and I liked it. I thought it was going to be a very typical show, with heroes like the Justice League. I was like: “ah, this is going to be a copy.”

When I watched the series, I realized it’s not like that. It also has a Superman-like character, yes, heroes similar to the Justice League, but everything is very changed, very different. It turns out this is not the normal show we’re used to seeing.

So this becomes the beginning, a bit rough, a bit raw, of the Invincible series.
The series Invincible is one of the newer ones, almost one of the most recommended, but not recommended out of hype. It’s recommended because once you start watching it, you’re going to like it.
