HIVE-NAIJA PROMPT: WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY FOR YOUR KIDS?

Talking about kids and family you would see there is more to it than mere words when the time comes. Kids are one of the best blessings anyone or couple could receive in their homes.
Without kids a family is not complete and there is less happiness.
For me i have a thousand and one things in mind for my kinds, last thing i would want is for my kids to go through what i have been through.
Firstly,

• I want to raise a standard for my kids and make sure i create that close father to kids relationship, where i would be there best friend that they can confide in. Alot of kids go through shits and it's hard for them to speak up to there parents until things get out of hands. I wouldn't want that to be the case for me and children. I want to be there best friend
• I want to lay a strong foundation for them, not to spoil them but to make sure they have a starting point anywhere in life. There is nothing greater than support from your own home, building a strong background so they wouldn't have search for a job or something like that, so they would have something as a wedger while they look for theirs.
• Providing for them, when i say providing it don't mean the usual clothing, feeding and tuition fees aspect. No, i mean getting them things and showing them how to get things for themselves and not feel oppressed but anyone. Showing that life has alot of stages and times flies.
  "A latest model of car today will certainly be an old model tomorrow".
• I will show them the way of the lord because there is no other path other than the part of God, every other path is a path to doom and destruction.

There are more and more i would do differently for them. So i guess i just have to start with myself first and then build my and their future at the same time.
