Adventures at IKEA-MOA, Pasay City

Hello, again Filipino Hivers! In my previous blog, I told you that we also visited the Venice Grand Canale in Mckinley BGC as part of our travel destination. For today's blog, I wanna share with you our last trip last Monday when we celebrated our third year anniversary.

To be honest, we've been to Mall of Asia a couple of times already but since it is the biggest Mall here in the Philippines, One whole day of wandering around here isn't enough. So, if you're from the province and you're planning to visit this famous Mall, make sure that your phone is fully charged because you'll end up getting lost. lol.

Anyways, our plan was to try the IKEA-Swedish Foods which luckily just happened. Take note: IKEA entrance can be found inside the MOA as well. You just have to ask the guards where exactly it was. (Sa laki talalaga ng MOA, di mo alam saan ang main entrance, lol)

Okay... So at first, I thought that the Store is just like S&R but I was totally wrong. Here in IKEA, you may find ready-to-assemble furniture and housewares.

I can tell you that some of the items here are really worth the price.

Honestly, I did not take a lot of pictures of the houseware because my partner and I were so busy talking with each other.

Fast forward, after some minutes of roaming around the appliances area, we decided to take a break and try their Swedish Bistro. It is located on the 3rd floor of the IKEA Store. Here, they sell some desserts and some to-go foods like ice cream, empanada, hotdog sandwiches, and some cookies. Their drinks here are flavored but I think that it is sparkling water.

IMG_20220711_185430.jpg We tried Raspberry and Pear as drinks but I can attest that it is just sparkling water, lol

After trying some snacks, we decided now to go to the fourth floor to see more of the houseware. But as we headed there, we just felt amazed to see their big showroom hall. There, we found so many room models that gave us ideas on how we should decorate our future house.

IMG_20220711_190505.jpgThis one looks congested tho the design is good. It's just that, I don't find it being child-friendly

IMG_20220711_192013.jpg This one is quite good as well. Actually, I like my house to look purifying and green.

IMG_20220711_191757.jpg I like this room for two. I took a picture of it because I wanted it to be the design of my kid's room in the future.

IMG_20220711_191302.jpg This room is along the kid's double-deck bedroom but I think that this living room is too much crowded. Found a Lil girl playing there, how cute.

IMG_20220711_190638.jpg Also found a room but I don't like the interior. It feels like it is only good for a loner.

Okay, so let's get back again to the Swedish foods because our stomachs looked for a main dish already. The policy here is to get your own tray, and your food, pay in the cashier, and clean as you go. So don't expect any personnel or staff to accommodate you. PS: this is their policy to maintain their lowest prices for foods.

IMG_20220711_194814.jpg We just ordered here Carrot cake, mushroom soup, Veggie spring roll, Plant-based meatballs, and their Swedish style fried chicken. Overall rating, 8/10

IMG_20220711_194849 (1).jpgbon appetite!

And this will be the last part of our anniversary celebration tour. I hope that I have also given you much info about the IKEA Store. I think that you must lessen your expectations here because some of the foods may not be suited to your taste buds.

Anyhow, I really enjoyed our date and of course our third year anniversary. Thank you so much guys for stopping by this article and see you on my next blogs!
