Preserving The Leftovers

John 6:12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

It was after preaching. Jesus needed to give the multitude something to eat, because they have been there for days with Him.

He miraculously used five loaves and two fishes to feed 5,000 men, women and children not counted. But when He finished, He said "Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost." What a powerful statement!

You might have been kind to people. You might have given out so much to someone that doesn't appreciate you. They shattered your kindness and said evil against you.

But above all, you need to gather the shattered pieces of your goodness. Don't lose your goodness because of how people took it for granted, for the Master need it for another miracle.

Gather your integrity, don't allow those pieces of your shattered self esteem get lost. Let nothing be lost, no matter how shattered it is because there's still more people hungry for the fulfillment of your calling.

The multitude are hungry again, put yourself together. The Master says gather your the fragments of your life and move forward for greater miracles.

Abba Father, thank you for feeding us with your goodness. Please help us to overcome every temptation to withhold our goodness, strengthen us to serve others, in Jesus name. Amen.
