Incredible Winter Sunset Aerials
Gotta make the most of winter and catch some flights and photos from the skies. The blue prairie skies and winter landscapes do make for some great scenery though I'll admit. I could do without the cold temperatures though.
Here's a few shots and spots around my home, lots of open farmland to fly over.
And always some great sunsets.
This is my enormous 200m long skating rink. The lanes here melt so much snow, when I dam it up at the end, it freezes into a pretty awesome skating rink.
We don't get this every year but some winters have a good melt and freeze cycle to make the giant rink.
Off to explore some local roads and other spots I use to takeoff and land when there is too much snow at the home field. I do appreciate the country grating the snow off the roads, gives me lots of places to fly from!
Animal tracks at some local pond.
Neighbor's machines and equipment at sunset.
The clouds dimmed out the landscape in this pic.
Yet a few minutes later I landed and had this col sunset color trimming the outline of the wing, I particularly like that shot at the moment of touchdown. Another successful flight.
Gear loaded up until the next flight.
See you all!
