100% Nebbiolo Tradtional Method Sparkling
Bubbles are beautiful, and always a thing for me. This is a traditional method sparkling Nebbiolo from the Sordo producer in Piemonte, Italy. Recently had it at an event I attended.
This was something exciting to try for myself, I’d never heard or let alone had such a wine like this. Have you? Made like champagne, spent 36 monthes on tirage, 100% Nebbiolo grapes.
The colour alone was interesting.
Nose: Rose petals in orange water, metal and minerals (almost like wet fresh steel)
Palate: Off dry style, bitter spiced orange and pomegranate, fresh with creamsicle finish mixed with strawberries
Cheers!
