Date Creek Quartz Crystals

An old collecting spot for quartz crystals north of Wickenburg, Arizona. Fortunately not that far away and not too far off the main roads. Even though a popular spot there's still plenty of quartz and some nice Goethite pseudomorphs after Pyrite. Here are a couple of nice Quartz groups picked up on the surface.

A nice twin group (1" in height)

A group of clear clusters etched out of some surrounding carbonate with muriatic acid.
