THE CLICK STORY:
After a lot of procrastination for capturing the colorful macaroons with lights, backdrop, and matching bouquets, finally all ‘SET UP’ for this beautiful one. This was shot using a 50mm prime lens. Didn’t have the tripod to help, instead used some weights to lift and hold the gear up. (But tripod is highly recommended). First I placed the macaroons into place. Arranged lights accordingly. I was so economic in this, so used a study lamp, wrapped with a pink wax paper, to give some blush flavor. Then arranged the golden light bunch and kept it in a semi blurred position. After all the set, I placed a set of Christmas trees lights, near the lens to get the bouquets, lined up in front. Frequently I checked the objects’ depth, focus, color, lights, shades and white balance. This is my first experiment with real edible products and more colors into the frame!
