"First Born Son"

I am particularly proud of this short piece, as I put a lot of myself into it. It is based on how we continue to sacrifice the well-being of our own children. It was first conceived a little less than a year ago with Midjourney 3 and some Midjourney evolutions of characters I had drawn.

I was beginning to make a comic; but the story kept changing, and a stigma began to form against AI art; so I put it to the side and focused on other projects; of which I have many.

I first returned to the project with the advent of Gen2, and I made a short video using some of the images from the story as input called "A Long Walk Through Hell"

As you can see it is a different, but also an interesting look with Gen2. More realistic, but diverging much more from the original imput images.
I am thinking I might rework the story with the help of an ai program and see how they do, then create a series of short videos.

In other news, Gen 2 just had an update. While it didn't seem to work so well with old Midjourney 3 images, it worked amazingly with new Midjourney 5.2 Images.

Unlike Text+ Image to Video, the new Image to video (no text) is completly accurate to the photo as well as crisp. I will do more trials with the Midjourney 3 images when I have more credits, but so far it doens't seem to recognize more abstract images, or my weird artwork.
