A weekend day spent at the pool

Hello friends,

Ashot weather still prevails in western Romania, today we decided to visit a swimming pool area in the neighbouring county to cool down a bit, and the place where we are going is called Strand Apollo-Felix in Oradea, Bihor county.

We left for the road and until there we did about two and a half hours, but I forgot a very important thing that in Romania at the end of the weekend is a very big holiday where many people are free and all are looking for a place to relax (the holiday is called St. Mary), and as I expected the pool area where we were going was extremely crowded, but we did not give up and we decided to relax like the others.

Some info,* parking* the car cost me 15lei/3euro and entrance to the pool area cost 50lei/10euro/person.

I like very much to come here on weekends to relax because I benefit from many facilities such as different types of massage (for a fee, the massage is paid separately per minute), there is a toboggan area, an area specially designed for parents with children, a wave pool, a volleyball court, three outdoor pools, an area where you can play table tennis, also here are many shops with beach items, souvenirs, but the most important is the food area.

In each pool there are a few* "mushrooms"*( that's what I call them), where water flows over them with a high flow and people sit at the bottom of the water flowing back and creating the sensation of massage.

I have attached here two pictures of what I ate, two portions of fried potatoes and a traditional Romanian dish, Mici.

What are Mici’s?

Mici’s are a preparation made from a mixture of ground pork and beef mixed with many spices and of course each producer has the secret ingredient that gives them that unique taste.
