A Deserted Garden

Good Tuesday, tree lovers!

Today I'm leaving you a shot taken from the living room window of my late grandmother's apartment... in the centre of Porto, Portugal.

This pond, which looks like a Tetris piece, is part of the condominium of the apartments where she lived.

Next to the buildings there's a little garden and the pond is in the middle of it. Everyone pays for this area and is free to use it... but, oddly enough and as far as I remember, I never saw a single person spending time in this place. - Not even cats or dogs roam there. - For years the spot has been pretty much empty 24/7 and the only people who actually spend any time here are the gardeners and cleaning ladies! 🤪

What a strange place...

It is so odd that people don't make use of these spots. I could easily see a barbecue grill being set up there and families having fun and great food on a Sunday afternoon! 😎
