My Morning -> Afternoon

Waking up to an amazing surprise, I looked outside to find that there was an incredible amount of snow that had fallen overnight!

alt

They called for several feet, and we definitely got over a couple thus far, with even more still predicted!

alt

Talk about a snow day!

I checked up on my hydroponics, botany, and garden, as well as my psilocybin isolates - with an updated picture of their colonization to come tomorrow when more is visible -, and then threw on a brew of java to get the morning started.

Making some breakfast, I grabbed my coffee and headed downstairs to catch up on my YouTube subscriptions and watch some Family Feud on CBC Gem.

Ready for 11am, and possibly, but not knowing as of yet if I do, having a shift from 2-8pm, I prepared for my afternoon!

And preparation be darned, with buses canceled, my shift was too! T'was a snow day!

alt

I decided I would call up and take a run over to a nearby store to do a quick errand...but this was a terrible idea in the deep snow...

alt

Showing some height,

alt

There was nearly three feet of snow!

alt

It was amazing.

alt

Some cars were even buried,

alt

But I thankfully got to my destination,

alt

And made it back, safe and sound!

My Afternoon -> Evening

Checking up on my dishes, I can now see some result of my first semi-decent transfers in half a year!

One transfer appears to have air contamination, while another, agar/sanitization contamination, totaling three viable transfers, one thankfully of each strain, showcased in the below picture;

My Evening -> Night

With the snow finally coming to an end, I make some pasta and prepare to rest after shoveling snow knee high.

alt

For 3 feet of snow shoveling makes for a good tiring of the body and mind and I rested by watching some of the Trailer Park Boys' SwearNet shows, Highway Thru Hell on CTV, and some videos from my YouTube subscriptions.

So, as my hectic day comes to an end, I send it off with a happy vibe.

For this crazy snow in wine country was definitely one for the books. And also, one I'll remember.

Cheers to yet another good one all, and to tomorrow's, all fellow ActiFitters - the best of days! 🍻
