How to create a DHCP scope on server 2012?

Hey folks, the lesson for today is on creating a DHCP scope on server 2012.

Let's get to it.

1.Open the DHCP application console.
2.Expand the DHCP server.
3.Right-click IPv4.
4.Select New Scope and click next.

1. On the next screen, enter the starting IP address followed by an ending IP address.

1. Exclude any ip address if necessary.

1. Leave lease duration as 8 days.

2. Choose configure scope options later and click finish.
