What do you think about VOTING <> REWARDS comparison

It bothers me since the beginning!

when someone votes on your post ~ it says $0.xx

but then you discover it is actually 0.xx HIVE

definitely not the same value!

am I wrong?!
ps. it is clear that you take the half of it at the end, but WHY the votes say that you earn U$D, while actually it is HIVE tokens?
