Keep your money in safety! And Goodbye to Bittrex!

Good day dear mates! As many of you can know in autumn Bittrex announced that it will shutdown to work since 4th of December. And all trading on the platform will be disabled.

And as many of you I have account there. But as I thought all my funds have been withdrawn from there. But suddenly on the 28th of November I received such email.

First of all I thought that it is fishing email, and decided to check from which address it was sent. As it turned out it has been sent from no-reply@global.bittrex.com

Then I decided to check my account wallet on Bittrex.com. And as it turned out I really had some money there some cents in BTC. At the beginning I wanted to exchange my funds straight ahead to Hive or HBD. After what to withdraw it to my Hive account. But unfortunately there wasn't such trading pair on Bittrex. The second thought was to withdraw my BTC cents to Ledger hard wallet, and again something went wrong coz Ledger was broken just in October. And to repair it or buy the new one I didn't have time yet. After some time I decided to look through which trading pair which suits to me Bittrex has. I found that it has BTC - STEEM pair but if I decided to choose this way I was need to transfer after it STEEM from my account to Hive chain. Of course it was possible to do via BeeSwap.io https://beeswap.dcity.io/convert

And then to convert from Swap.Hive to Hive. This method has it's disadvantages due percents which I should to pay during tokens conversion. That's why I decided to ask friend to help me with withdrawing tokens. And he was so kind and agreed to help. So he gave me his BTC wallet address to let me to withdraw BTC from Bittrex.

Just a minute after it my friend confirmed that he received funds on his wallet address. So now I'm able to convert my funds via another exchanges or via p2p market to HIVE.
But the most interesting moment which didn't let me to sleep well where from funds appeared in my Bittrex wallet. And here I found surprise! Because as it turned out I got this Satoshis in ... 2019 just imagine this funds were there 4 years. I exchanged them for MARO tokens. I even didn't remember from where I got them.

Also I was interested about current MARO market price. According to Coingecko now 1 MARO costs 0,00092123$

So as you can see Bittrex saved my money. And as so as price of MARO dropped down for more than 100 times.
As a conclusion I want to say firsy of all I recomend you to check your Bittrex wallet maybe and you have some funds in your Bittrex wallet! You still have more than 24 hours to withdraw your funds! It's a huge time. Also even considering that fact that Bittrex soon will be disabled I didn't loose my money. And I wish you first of all always keep your money and passwords in safety. And check more often exchanges and your wallets not to loose your money. And thanks to Bittrex it was good exchange platform and saved my money. Stay tuned! Yours @travoved
