Joseph II. Last Time
Joseph II 1741 - 1790 he was an unhappy person. Both his wives died and so did his daughter. He found no understanding for his thoughts anywhere. He was lonely.
But the problem was in him. Josef was a technocrat. He didn't understand people at all. He was very flat emotionally. He believed that a cool mind would solve all problems. His mind.
His motto was: "Everything for the people, nothing through the people." Joseph believed that he himself is the only one who knows everything and decides and determines everything correctly.
His mother yelled at him: "You can't rule them if you don't like them!" But he was not capable of love for people. He loved only his mind.

At the end of his life he faced the French Revolution, uprisings in Hungary and the Austrian Netherlands. At the same time, as a Russian ally, he fought against the Ottoman Empire. It turns out that the emperor is not a good warlord. Epidemics broke out in his army. Joseph apparently died of overwork.
