Making of a mule

Hi friends, today, I want to share a brief process on the making of a mule for a client of mine.

materials used were leather, suede, adhesive glue, lasts, rubber sole, buckle and fibre.

After drawing out the pattern I want, I cut it on the suede and also cut my insoles as shown below.

I then attach everything to the last and put a "front stay" for stiffness.
I apply adhesive glue and allow it to dry then I pull it over the lasts.

Lasts are like mannequin feet for making shoes. They come in various sizes.

I then apply gum to my sole and the shoe on the lasts and gum them together.
