Early spring stork
Of course, this does not mean that the storks have already returned to our region. But some of the birds I once raised (their parents died during the hurricane and the chicks came to me) stay to spend the winter with us. Despite the fact that they can fly, they prefer to stay where they grew up. There's nothing deprecating about it. First of all, our winters are getting warmer (although this winter was an exception, it was very harsh). Secondly, they have enough food in my yard. I always leave it a little on the roofs of the birdhouses especially for the birds that come to us. Thus, there is no need to fly thousands of kilometers in search of prey and heat. Everything is already right here.
It makes me happy to look at them. The feeling of spring comes faster.,
