Dead

My GARMIN FENIX 3 has lasted more than ten years. Today, when I got out of the pool, I realized the watch had turned off... I was very surprised because it wasn't running low on battery... in fact, it was the first time in 10 years that this has happened to me.
I couldn't even remember which button to press to turn it on... I found it, pressed it, the GARMIN symbol appeared on the screen, and after a few seconds it turned off again.

I tried this for a while... nothing, the watch is dead. Then I delved into YouTube tutorials, followed all the advice, and even tried a hard reset, but nothing seems to work.

This afternoon, I went to a GARMIN store in my city. They did the same thing I did and told me it could be the battery swollen from the heat, but that it would be best to contact a technical support center.
Well, the fact is, I've had the opportunity to try the new FENIX 8. They're beautiful, but their price is also extremely expensive, over 1,100 euros for the average model...

I'm depressed.
My adventure partner has died...
I need a replacement, and I don't think anything "alternative" can match it, but spending so much money on the new model doesn't seem like an option for me right now.

So, I'm going to take it apart. I'm going to try changing the battery, which I've never done before, and maybe see if I can "dry out" the integrated circuit if the problem is moisture... very strange.

I'll let you know. For now, I've ordered the replacement battery from Amazon. 14 euros isn't much, and it's worth trying to fix it, don't you think?
