De todos los deportes de equipos, para quien escribe, el voleibol fue el más disputado. En uno y otro sexo los partidos fueron verdaderas batallas que demostraron por qué este ha sido el deporte de equipos que en los últimos años más ha evolucionado, tanto a nivel de reglas que lo han hecho más dinámico, como a nivel de popularidad y crecimiento de los equipos en el mundo.

En el masculino, Francia deleitó a su afición y mantuvo la corono alcanzada en Tokio 2020. América Latina y el Caribe

De nuestra área latinoamericana, solo Brasil, en el femenino pudo alcanzar una medalla de bronce, pues, en el masculino, donde teníamos a Argentina y Brasil que en Tokio 2020 habían alcanzado bronce y cuarto lugar pudieron alcanzar medallas.
