Early Christmas Preparation

Christmas is the time whe families gather thus my family is going to have a gathering on December 24 until December 26. My siblings also had their own families and lived far from our old home. My house is not far so I am the one who frequently visits my parents house, besides, I leave my son them during school days so I could go work.

Last Sunday, I, my wife and son went to the farm to bring a goat and get firewood for the cooking during the gathering. The firewood was heavy amd it was great that there were many trees cut along the road and I was able to get a lot without much effort. Mostly were scraps and was not taken by whoever cut the tree down.

It was raining when we went home and it rained even harder when we arrived at my parents house and we did not have a raincoat to be able to go home soon since we will be using my motorcycle from there.

Knowing we are aomekidn if trapped by the rain, my mother took the chance to replace the floor carpet in the living room before my siblings and thier families arrive.

My nephew and nie9are already there so we all worked together, moving my mother's furnitures, sweeping the dust on the corners and placing the mat on top of the old one.

All of us worked together until the chire was done, my mother also gave in to my request of making us coffee while we work as the temperature dropped. Everyone contributed and the final results was amazing! The living room now look neatier wider and cooler!

This is our number one preparation for the coming Christmas 2024. I am very excited about our family activities tomorrow as we will be having an exchange gifts and of course, having lots of food and for celebration.
