PREPARING BRAKE FAST (TAPIOCA AND AKARA)
Hello foodies friends,
I hope we all have a wonderful night,this morning I will be shearing with us my local food, called (STARCH And AKARA) the starch is made from a white maize ๐ฝ
grinded to powder and for the AKARA it is called beans cake in English,it is made up of beans,soaked in a water remove the shaft
, grained into wet paste,
Today I decide to prepare my brake fast my self and to shear with you how it is done here in Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ
INGREDIENTS
TAPIOKA
WATER
BEANS
GRANDNUT OIL
PEPPER
MAGI
SALT
ONIONS
PREPARATION
Tapioka
Tapioca comes in powder form and it is a processed from the factory all you need to do is to get a pot put it on the gas cooker when it get to the boiling point turn the tapioca into the hot water mix together till you get your desire portion
,pure into a cup or bowl add your sugar milk ๐ฎ and ready to consume
AKARA PREPARATION
Get a dry beans soak in a water for few minutes for it to be soft
,remove from the water after few minutes remove the shaft, then grained to a wet paste
, add your ingredients maggi, salt, pepper, onion, if you like you can add your crayfish, then mix together
,after that put a frypan on the burner pure your groundnut oil into the frypan when it hot began to pour the beans paste with a scoop!
, after that let it fried ๐ณ for some minutes the remove from the frypan pure in another neat bowl and ready to eat
,
This combination is very common in Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ for brake fast especially weekends,it is easy to make and very delicious ๐
