My First Time In School, I Lost Direction.

It was a splendid day to be in this great community for the very first time. I was really glad when I found this community, and I will be sharing my story of how I got admission. When I finished my SS3 education, I was in search of money because I didn't want to go to school. I waited for 2 years, then I decided to study more, so I gathered money and got a jamb form. I went for lessons, and I read hard for the exam. After some months, I did the exam in a few days, and the result came out. I was happy because my JAMB score was 250. I continued with the school processing, and after some months, I got admitted into the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State.

Actually, I didn't know anyone in the school, not to mention any place to stay, but with the help of the internet, I found some people there, and I got an apartment to stay in, for which I paid the sum of 100,000 for a self-contained apartment. I parked all my needs, like a bed, table, chair, plates, cooking gas, and many more, before I went to school and when I got there, I moved into the apartment I had already rented. Then the lecture was already in progress, and I didn't know my lecture room. I asked a student like me also, and I didn't know I was given the wrong lecture address. When I got there, it wasn't my lecture room. I searched for my lecture room for more than an hour, and lectures are for 2 hours. When I could finally get the address, the lecture was already coming to an end, I didn't have a choice, I sat for the little class remaining.

When I resumed, I didn't interact with people in my department. All I do is listen to lecture and pack my load and go home. Then I noticed it wasn't helpful. Then I tried getting close to some of my department mates so they started putting me through, and I began to interact freely with them. On this great day we are to choice a representative and half of the department shouted out my name to be their representative. I was speechless, and we did election because I wasn't the only one who came out, I didn't come out all by myself because I was scared when the election ended and the result was announced, I was marge the winner and I became the representative of OFFICE TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT(OTM). I was glad tough, then I tightened my belt and read really hard for the coming examination.

When we did the first semester examination, my grade point(GP) was 3.80,our total grade point was 4.00. I worked really hard more to write 4.00 this semester, the result is not out yet. When it's out, I will come on here and share the testimony.
