Bible study held on zoom 2nd August, 2021.

This is what I learnt from today's Bible study on the zoom meeting from brother Eli. Salvation comes from God and not man. No man can give us salvation
Psalm 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man,
In whom there is no help.
When you put your trust and salvation on a man you're under a curse the Bible made us believe so.
Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed bethe man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Roman 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written.
Titus 1:2 in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Salvation cannot be bought every wealth on earth put together is not equivalent to salvation Zephaniah 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath;
There's only one way to salvation and that's through Christ Jesus our lord and personal saviour not silver, gold or diamond
And receiving the lord Jesus Christ without obeying his word isn't salvation. Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
