Cuttlefish with spinach.. drooling!
If you find fresh cuttlefish, one of the ways to cook it is with spinach and herbs. It is a very common way to cook them this way in my country ... and very tasty too!
Ingredients: 1kgr of spinach (you can enrich with other seasonal herbs like chervils or harworts) cleaned and cut in pieces, 1 tomato cut in pieces, 1tbsp of finely cut dill, 1 kgr of cuttlefish, cleaned and cut in big pieces, 2 medium onions cut in small pieces, 70ml olive oil, 1 cup of white wine, 1 tbsp of tomato paste, salt and pepper
In a big pot, sauté your onions in the olive oil in medium fire. Put your cuttlefish in, and sauté as well for 5’. Put the white wine and stir. Add the tomato paste, the tomato and a little water (half cup). Put your spinach and let it wilt. All this time keep stirring your food. Add the dill and some water. In total, let your food simmer for about 30’. Add salt and pepper.
Enjoy!
