Supper girl.

To the builder of the present me, greetings, beautiful souls. Happy weekend to you all; I hope you all had a great day. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Topic of the week says, If you could talk to your younger self. If I could see my younger self today, the first thing I would do is hug 🫂 me, to hold me so tight.

The first word I will use is "thank you." I will thank my younger self for the strength, for the self-love, and for teaching me how to love myself. I think within the week, I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw were Facebook was showing me pictures of me that I posted some years ago. I was just smiling looking at those pictures, and I started reflecting on my younger self. Let me tell you a little about me. So I'm the last girl in my family and the most stubborn 🤗, but do you know that because I was stubborn, I overcame so many things in life? Like not letting challenges keep me down.

At some point after the death of our parents. My siblings neglected me; that was why when I was raped, I couldn't tell anyone, and till date none of them know that something of that nature has ever happened to me. Like my older siblings could buy clothes and other stuff for others except me. And I'm grateful for that because the strength I have today is as the result of what I went through. I remember when my husband came to marry me. My sisters cried like babies because, with everything they did to me, I still showed them unconditional love and am still showing them.

The woman I have become. Proud of how far I have come.

Today there is no decision taken from my family without my approval. So if I see my younger self today, I could tell my younger self how proud I am, because I'm who I am today because I didn't let whatever I went through then keep me down; rather, it made me stronger 💪. Don't worry I'm not a saint either, I will tell you the other side of me someday. Thank you for reading through.
