Old fruit and new bud
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge. These are tow pictures I took last week using my Pentax KP.
Old Fruit
I'm not sure what kind of plant this is. Anyway I liked the look of that dried fruit.
Here is the original. I raised the contrast a bit before turning it into black and white.
Hazel Bud
In this case I know the name of the plant. It is a corkscrew hazel nut. Last week it was just a bud. By know it will be sporting fresh green leaves, I guess.
The black and white image is a crop of the original picture as shown below.
Fortunately we are allowed to take a walk outside in spite of all the contact restrictions. It was nice enjoying some exercise in the sun.
