Conformist, rebel, or.....

Most people seem to think the paradigm options are to be either a conformist or a rebel. Both are positions of vulnerability. While the conformist is easier for the manipulator to use, the rebel is far better to be used by them. If the manipulator can convince the rebel he desires the opposite of what he really desires, the rebel will accomplish with zeal and passion what the conformist would only half heartedly do. Don't be a conformist or a rebel. Choose the third little known option of being an objectivist. View each situation and it's responses on their own merits. Don't be persuaded by the emotionalism that the manipulator love to inject into every situation.
