Community Jump Start
Where are those sailors, adventurers, dreamers, salts and wanna be salts? Let's expand the sailing community. We should consider ways we can promote this space and grow members here. Sailing is truly magical and those that currently sail and those that are interested would benefit from an active community. I'm going to start regularly posting here and asking others on hive that post sailing content to other communities to consider this community.
We need:
- More sailing content - pictures, stories, questions, discussions, contests.
- People interested or who are currently sailing
- Healthy exchange of ideas and information for those that want to start sailing or those that want to learn more.
- Outreach to other communities and platforms (twitter, sailing forums). Invite others with similar interests. Boating, Travel come to mind.
What else can we do to start this community rolling?
