One of world's oldest medical journals, BMJ, calls for release of Coronavirus vaccine trial data.
The British Medical Journal, one of the world's oldest general medical journals, has called for the release of vaccine trial data.
Senior editor Peter Doshi, editor in chief Kamran Abbasi, and former editor in chief Fiona Godlee, penned an article demanding that Pfizer's vaccine trial data must be released so that the information can be studied and independently verified.
They note in their article that a lack of transparency has been consistent across manufacturers and that the data being withheld is not in line with helping people have informed consent.
