Meta Study of Mask Usage Found Virtually No Effect on Viral Infection
A meta analysis study published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews 2023, Issue 1, found practically no discernable effect of mask wearing on viral contractions with Coronavirus.
Researchers relied on data from 78 random control trials with over 600,000 participants.
This is one of the largest meta studies every performed on the topic and it shows what we knew all along: masking for viral prevention in the general population simply cannot work, especially, given the impossibility of maintaining high quality fit and hygiene.
